Texas State Board of Dental Examiners considers administrative company regulation

The Texas State Board of Dental Examiners is considering a new rule that would regulate the use of dental support organizations, according to a Houston Chronicle Health report.

The proposed rule would regulate support organizations offering dental practice services such as accounting, marketing and scheduling.

A number of practicing dentists have voiced concern over the proposed rule, according to the report.
