The dental clinic will be located at Davidson County Community College in Thomasville, N.C. The center will be staffed by 1.5 full-time dental faculty positions, according to the report.
The facility will provide dental student and dental resident training. Services will include general dentistry, preventative care and emergency care. Care will be focused on low-income families and Medicare beneficiaries, according to the report.
Plans for the dental facility were originally announced in 2012.
