DentalMonitoring reaches $1B valuation after financing round

DentalMonitoring has reached a $1 billion valuation after announcing a $150 million growth financial round, the AI-powered dental software company said Oct. 21.

DentalMonitoring software automates practice workflows such as messaging and instructions for patients and staff and patient triage.

The funding round is led by a $90 million investment by Mérieux Equity Partners and a $60 million investment from Vitruvian Partners.

The company said it plans to apply the funds toward global growth with a focus on U.S. expansion and entering Chinese and Japanese markets. It also plans to double its employees and gain acquisitions.
