Dr. Slack sold Riverview Dental to another dentist, Preston Schraeder, DDS, according to a KELO-TV investigation.

Dr. Slack is facing one felony aggravated assault charge and four misdemeanor assault charges related to alleged abuse that authorities say occurred in September, according to KELO-TV.

The case is set to go to trial Feb. 22. Dr. Slack faces up to 15 years prison if found guilty.
