1. Lincoln, Neb.-based Paradigm Oral Health completed a surgeon-led buyback of BlackRock Long Term Private Capital’s majority ownership stake.
2. Toronto-based Dentalcorp entered the U.S. market after acquiring Northstar Dental Partners, a 21-practice DSO headquartered in Boca Raton, Fla.
3. New Hyde Park, N.Y.-based Premier Care Dental Management added Brookline (Mass.) Smile Artists to its network.
4. Miami-based Guardian Dentistry Partners entered into a definitive agreement for a strategic majority acquisition of Florham Park, N.J.-based Select Dental Management.
5. Farmington Hills, Mich.-based Smile America Partners, a DSO specializing in portable and mobile dentistry, was acquired by Kaltroco, a private investment company.
6. Principal Financial Group is set to acquire Beam Benefits, a provider of dental benefits that serves more than 25,000 small businesses.
