The institute will allow patients to receive care from a range of diverse specialists at the same time, including oral and maxillofacial surgeons, orofacial pain specialists, physical therapists, orthodontists, prosthodontists, comprehensive care dentists, social workers and clinical psychologists.
The concept for the institute was first established in the United Kingdom by Shaun Matthews, a clinical professor of oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Indianapolis-based school.
