Two dental leadership moves to know:
1. Awab Abdulmajeed, DDS, was named director of the international dentist program at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in Richmond. Dr. Abdulmajeed, who joined the school in February 2020, previously served as director of the school’s advanced restorative and digital dentistry course and co-director of its pre-clinical restorative dentistry courses. His new role will consist of providing oversight and working with the school’s admissions team to recruit students outside of the U.S. for the program.
2. Dental software company Tab32 appointed Daniel Masvidal senior vice president of operations. He previously served as senior vice president of client success at CareCloud, a health IT company, where he oversaw legal affairs and sales operations.
