Family Dental Care NC gives back — 5 key notes

Family Dental Care NC in Jacksonville is donating to Susan G. Komen Foundation, the largest breast cancer organization in the United States, according to JDNews.com.

1. The practice is donating $1 for every patient that comes in for an appointment during the month of October.

2. Family Dental Care of NC’s patients sign their names on pink ribbons, which are hung on the wall in the waiting room.

3. For the last few years, the practice has donated to the breast cancer foundation. The practice has raised approximately $50 each day so far this month.

4. The practice expects to raise over $1,500 by the end of October.

5. Many of the patients support the practice’s efforts and provide additional donations.
