The ADA group received 1,389 responses in its “Economic Outlook and Emerging Issues in Dentistry” poll about economic recovery.

Twenty-two percent of dentists said they were “very” or “somewhat” confident in the U.S.’ economic recovery in the next six months, down from 29 percent in April. The drop was similar to dentists’ confidence in their own dental practice recovery, with 65 percent indicating they were “very” or “somewhat” confident in the recent poll, down from 69 percent in April.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place September 14-15 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence.
