Here are seven dentists making the news this week.

Kentucky dentists Jessica Kress, DMD, and Steve Rider, DMD, provided free dental services for those in need in the Lexington community, according to Lexington Herald Leader. 

Rob Hubbard, DDS, and Justin Leath, DDS, launched their website which features content about the services the dentists offer patients. Drs. Hubbard and Leath practice in Rochester Hills, Mich.

Jeff Porter, DDS, is retiring after 42 years of dental practice. Tracy Nemecek, DDS, will succeed Dr. Porter in his practice in Charlevoix, Mich., according to petoskeynews.com.

Fresno, Calif.-based United Health Centers of San Joaquin Valley, appointed Abran De La O, DDS, dental director. Dr. De La O is the first dental director United Health Centers has had in years and he will oversee 17 dentists and nine hygienists in his new role, according to Exponent.com.
