ADA elects 2nd vice president

David Manzanares, DDS, was elected second vice president of the American Dental Association Oct. 15.

Dr. Manzanares is a general dentist from Albuquerque, N.M. He ran for the position of second vice president unopposed, according to an Oct. 16 news release from the ADA.

Dr. Manzanares previously served on the ADA council on communications from 2016 to 2020, where he was chair of both the volunteer engagement program and the council self-assessment committee, part of the spokesperson review committee and a member of the integrated marketing workgroup.
