Daniel Garner, DMD, failed and refused to make and keep records to substantiate the legitimate medical purpose for prescriptions issued to patients for schedule II controlled substances, according to an Oct. 17 news release from the U.S. Justice Department.
Dr. Garner pleaded guilty to one count and was sentenced to 18 months probation, a $1,000 fine and a special assessment of $25.
