Thomas Shannon, DDS, was arrested Jan. 5 and charged with two counts of aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material, two counts of possession of sexually abusive material and four counts of using a computer to commit a crime.
Shannon Orthodontics, based in Grandville and Plainwell, Mich., told the news station in an email that it suspended operations following Dr. Shannon’s arrest and was working to transfer patients to other practices. It also said it was contacting patients individually to determine best care plans.
