Dr. Sheldon Seidman serves Holocaust survivors — 5 key notes

Chicago cosmetic dentist, Sheldon Seidman, DDS, provided two Holocaust survivors free dental care.

1. Dr. Seidman provided the care through Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity’s pilot program.

2. Alpha Omega International Dental launched the program last year to help Holocaust survivors receive free dental care.

3. So far, the program has expanded to nine cities including Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, Boston, New York-New Jersey metropolitan area, Detroit, Chicago, Seattle, Montreal and Toronto.

4. Dr. Seidman performed an extraction and provided a denture for one patient and fit the second patient for a dental bridge.

5. He earned his dental degree from Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago.
