1. A woman from St. Clair Shores, Mich., was charged with allegedly embezzling more than $200,000 from a dental practice where she was an employee at the time.

2. An Illinois woman was charged with practicing dentistry without a license.

3. OraPharma, a company that sells oral health products, will pay $100,000 to resolve allegations that it submitted false claims to Medicare.

4. A Florida dentist facing several battery charges for inappropriately touching female patients and an employee was given four 60-day sentences.

5. A Nevada dentist pleaded guilty to failing to pay the IRS taxes withheld from employee wages.

6. Multiple dental practice owners and co-conspirators were charged for allegedly taking part in a multifaceted racketeering conspiracy through a multistate network of dental practices and businesses.
