Oklahoma Dental Association commemorates local dentist: 5 takeaways

Oklahoma Dental Association granted Douglas Auld, DDS, the ODA’s Richard T. Oliver Award, according to McAlester News-Capital.

1. Dr. Auld received the award for his contributions to enhancing local residents’ oral health.

2. ODA presented the award at the Cox Convention Center in Oklahoma City.

3. Serving as ODA’s Speaker of the House, Dr. Auld collaborates with state legislators on bills that would help dentists and their patients.

4. Additionally, he participates in ODA’s Mission of Mercy, which provides dental services to those in need across Oklahoma.

5. He has been the president of ODA, and also is the former chairman of the McAlester (Okla.) Regional Health Center Authority and the McAlester Public Health Center Authority.
