Maine Health Access Foundation awards dental clinics $150k to enhance care: 3 notes

The Maine Health Access Foundation will give state nonprofit dental clinics almost $150,000 to make care affordable for low-income residents, according to WCSH 6.

Here are three notes:

1. The foundation will provide grants to Maine centers in Bucksport, Brewer, Dexter and Belfast.

2. Community Dental, which has clinics in Portland and Biddeford, will also receive a grant.

3. According to the foundation, thousands of state residents have untreated dental conditions and forgo costly care.
