Sonendo revenue jumps 25% in 2022: 6 things to know

Sonendo, a dental technology company, had a revenue increase of 25 percent in 2022 compared to its 2021 results, according to its March 8 financial report.

Here are five more things to know:

1. Sonendo reported $41.7 million in 2022 total revenue, compared to $33.2 million in 2021. 

2. The company’s fourth quarter revenue was $12.2 million, an increase of 24 percent over the $9.9 million reported in the fourth quarter of 2021. 

3. Revenue for the company’s GentleWave console, a platform to treat tooth decay, was $10.8 million in 2022, up from $8.4 million in 2021. 

4. Full year net loss increased from $48.5 million in 2021 to $57.1 million in 2022. 

5. Sonendo expects to have total revenue between $48 million and $51 million in 2023.
