The practice is led by periodontist Justin Schlaikjer, DDS. He was approved to use the robot last year and his practice began using it in July. Since then, the practice has completed more than 200 surgeries with the technology, according to Fox 2 Now.
The Yomi robot is manufactured by Neocis and is the only FDA-cleared robot-assisted dental surgery system in the U.S.
