The aligner system is the first that is designed to be worn specifically at night and cuts down daily wear time to nine to 12 hours, according to an April 17 news release.
The aligners utilize a hyper-elastic polymer, allowing for reduced wear time without increasing treatment length.
NiTime Aligners will be available to an initial group of orthodontists on April 21, the release said.
At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place November 12–14 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence.
