Minnesota nonprofit acquires private dental practice

Bemidji, Minn.-based nonprofit Northern Dental Access Center recently acquired the Bagley (Minn.) Dental Clinic, TheBemidji Pioneer reported June 29.

Jill Nelson, DDS, and Mary Jones, DDS, will transition ownership to the nonprofit this summer, after which the clinic will reopen under Northern Dental. The nonprofit expects to begin accepting new patients in the fall. 

Northern Dental Access Center hosts more than 31,000 appointments each year at its locations in Bemidji and Halstad. The Bagley clinic will add 7,000 appointments.
