Data on the cost of dental care was collected as part of personal finance site WalletHub’s “2023’s Best & Worst States for Health Care” ranking, which was published July 31.
The rankings for the best states for dental health were published by WalletHub on Feb. 1.
Here is the average out-of-pocket cost to visit a dentist in the top 10 states for dental health:
1. Wisconsin: $119.84
2. Illinois: $120.49
3. District of Columbia: $105.20
4. Minnesota: $91.80
5. Connecticut: $114.28
6. North Dakota: $96.93
7. Michigan: $110.53
8. Idaho: $87.72
9. Massachusetts: $143.24
10. Ohio: $97.27
