European orthodontics provider opens 1st location in New York City

Impress, a clear aligner orthodontics company founded in Barcelona, Spain, is set to open its first clinic location in New York City on Aug. 24.

The company utilizes its AI technology to predict bone movements, creating a faster and effective treatment process, according to an Aug. 21 news release.

The average treatment length is between six and 12 months, using transparent splints to gradually exert pressure on teeth to reach the end treatment goal. 

Impress supports offices in 160 cities across eight countries, with plans to expand into more U.S. locations, the release said.

The New York clinic is the company’s 11th U.S. office, with locations in Chicago; Evanston, Ill.; Oakland, Calif.; San Francisco; Santa Clara, Calif.; and Seattle, according to its website.
