The mark broke the company’s previous record of $7.6 million in services it donated during its service day in 2022, according to a Sept. 6 news release from Pacific Dental Services.

On Smile Generation Serve Day, dentists provide free services including cleanings, fillings, extractions, crowns and root canals to underserved patients across the U.S.

Since launching the event in 2011, Pacific Dental Services has provided more than $57.4 million in free oral care to more than 27,000 patients, the release said.

Pacific Dental Services supports nearly 1,000 dental practices across 24 states.
