The D.C. Board of Dentistry revoked the license of Mark McClure, DDS, after a patient alleged he engaged in sexual misconduct, misrepresented himself, performed work outside the scope of his license and did not maintain an adequate record of his services.
Dr. McClure did not report to the board’s hearing. In a statement to the outlet, he claimed that the allegations were baseless and that no sexual assault took place.
The patient reported the conduct to the police. Dr. McClure has not received any criminal charges.
The Department of Health suspended Dr. McClure’s license in May 2022 after the patient alleged improper contact.
The dental board banned Dr. McClure from applying for another license for five years, the report said.
In a statement, National Integrated Health Associates, the practice that Dr. McClure partially owns, said the revocation of Dr. McClure’s license is being appealed.
