The American Fork, Utah-based Henry Schein subsidiary said the software aims to support the growing need for interoperability and information sharing between dentistry and medicine.

The module is developed by Exan Software, a Henry Schein One company and the creator of the axiUm dental management software suite.

Penn Dental Medicine at Philadelphia-based University of Pennsylvania is the first dental school to implement the solution. Penn Medicine uses Epic, while Penn Dental Medicine utilizes axiUm. Powered by Redox, the solution integrates directly into Epic software.
