Pearl's chairside artificial intelligence software, Second Opinion, has been announced as the Best of Class Technology Award recipient by Cellerant Consulting group.
Second Opinion helps dentists by detecting numerous oral health conditions in patient X-ray images including cavities, bone loss, root abscesses and tartar, according to a July 19 news release.
The technology is the only dental AI software approved by the FDA to detect multiple forms of disease, the release said.
