Overjet partnered with software company Carestream Dental to give Carestream customers access to its X-ray analysis tool.
The tool uses artificial intelligence to detect decay, quantify bone loss and highlight other areas of concern, according to an Oct. 27 news release from Overjet.
"We're seeing an increase in AI in every part of the industry, which is giving clinicians greater confidence in their diagnosis and treatment planning," Jeremy Thomas, general manager of the Americas for Carestream Dental, said in the release.
