1. Dental artificial intelligence company Pearl received a patent for the computer system technology used in its Second Opinion chairside software.
2. Bola AI and Peerlogic are partnering to expand the use of artificial intelligence in dental practices.
3. SmileDirectClub launched SmileMaker, its artificial intelligence-guided scanning platform, in the U.S.
4. Kells, an oral health artificial intelligence company, and Liberty Dental Plan Northeast, a dental benefits administration company, teamed up to provide underserved communities with dental health evaluations.
5. Dental software company Planet DDS integrated artificial intelligence into its cloud-based imaging software at more than 200 dental offices.
6. Overjet was awarded Fast Company's 2023 World Changing Ideas Awards in two categories for its artificial intelligence technology.
7. Dexis earned FDA clearance for the latest release of its DTX Studio Clinic, an artificial intelligence dental imaging and diagnosis software.
