Waltham, Mass.-based 42 North Dental plans to fully roll out use of VideaHealth's artificial intelligence technology after seeing positive results in its network.
VideaHealth's AI-powered diagnostic platform enhances transparency and accuracy for dentists and patients by assisting dentists with analyzing X-rays.
42 North Dental added the AI technology in July 2022. The DSO reported July 18 that 90 percent of patients who received AI-powered diagnoses want to only receive care at practices using VideaHealth’s technology.
The DSO also said its dentists are diagnosing early-stage decay and disease at two times the rate prior to integrating the technology and have seen the rate of treatment acceptance increase from 30 percent to 90 percent.
42 North Dental supports 42 practice brands at 113 locations.
