Planet DDS has teamed up with Pearl to integrate Pearl’s dental radiology AI program into Planet DDS’ cloud imaging and practice management softwares.
Pearl’s Second Opinion technology aims to help dentists by assisting with X-ray evaluation, creating more accuracy in the diagnosis of diseases, according to an Aug. 3 news release from Planet DDS.
The software has helped detect 37 percent more true-positive diseases and 28 percent less false-positives, the release said.
