Dental AI company Pearl is natively integrating its program into Dentrix Ascend, Henry Schein One’s dental technology platform.
The native integration aims to eliminate the AI workflow friction caused by the need to switch between platforms, import images manually and reconcile findings across systems, according to an April 30 news release from Pearl.
As radiographs are captured within Dentrix Ascend, Pearl’s AI will automatically identify and display findings related to tooth decay, bone loss and other pathologies with the Dentrix interface.
In addition to radiograph analysis, Pearl has developed AI programs for clinical documentation and revenue cycle management. The integration expands capabilities to one of the most popular cloud-based dental platforms in Dentrix Ascend.
Pearl’s AI will be available for all Dentrix Ascend users in the coming weeks, the release said.
