Dental AI company Pearl introduced Imagecheck, an AI-powered dental radiograph quality assurance program.
Imagecheck provides automated feedback on the diagnostic quality of 2D dental X-rays in real time, helping practices ensure accuracy, efficiency and compliance, according to a Sept. 11 news release from Pearl.
Common radiographic errors that the program can automatically detect include cone cuts, over- and underexposure, excessive overlap, missing root tips, blurriness and faulty angulation.
The program can also help improve claim approvals by ensuring that radiographic submissions meet payer requirements, the release said.
