Pearl obtains patent for dental radiology system

Dental artificial intelligence company Pearl was granted a patent for its radiology system used to visually present AI-detected dental conditions, the company announced July 1.

Pearl’s new system supports the company’s radiology AI device, Second Opinion. The device uses artificial intelligence to detect pathologies, existing restorations and patients’ natural anatomy in dental X-rays.

Pearl is based in Los Angeles.
