Wallethub released a comprehensive report on dental care in the U.S. breaking down states with the best and worst dental care as well as where patients can find the most dentists. The organization compared all 50 states and the District of Columbia across 26 key indicators of dental awareness.

1. Hawaii
2. Massachusetts
3. Montana
4. California
5. New Jersey

Here are the five states with the fewest dentists per capita, descending order:

1. Louisiana
2. Idaho
3. Alabama
4. Tennessee
5. Mississippi
