Highest-paying:

1. Alaska: $115,510

2. California: $108,200

3. Washington: $106,200

4. Oregon: $94,420

5. Maryland: $89,340

Lowest-paying:

1. South Carolina: $65,440

2. Kentucky: $61,500

3. West Virginia: $61,050

4. Mississippi: $57,670

5. Alabama: $51,130
