Along with the restrictions on non-emergency services, dentists are taking extra precautions to keep patient safe. L. King Scott, DDS, has implemented a 20-minute waiting rule, which requires a 20-minute wait between patients for the staff to properly sanitize the office.

Dr. Scott is also working to ensure the restrictions do not affect his staff.

“We’re trying to be positive with our employees and making sure that they continue to have a place that they work,” he told myarklamiss.com. “We’re doing staggered scheduling, so our team is still coming in.”
