The upgrade took place at its Smile Labs facility in Antioch, Tenn., according to a Sept. 6 news release. The facility is now equipped with the same laser technology and automation used to create the company’s Comfort Sense clear aligners.
The teledentistry company said the manufacturing facility will now be able to double production of its retainers and clear aligners with a third of the manpower, resulting in a 225 percent increase in productivity.
