PIPStek, a subsidiary of dental technology company Sonendo, filed a patent infringement lawsuit against dental laser manufacturer Biolase.
PIPStek asserts infringement of two patents by Biolase's Waterlase laser, according to a Jan. 4 news release.
"We do not believe that the PIPStek patent case has merit and we plan to defend vigorously," Biolase said in a statement to Becker's Jan. 6.
