Angel Aligner, a clear aligner company, and 3Shape, a developer of intraoral scanners, entered into a global strategic partnership.
Through the partnership, Angel Aligner clinicians can easily upload patient scans and images to the company's digital orthodontic platform when using 3Shape scanners, according to an Aug. 7 news release.
In turn, orthodontic clients of 3Shape will gain access to Angel Aligner's clear aligner products to streamline workflows.
Angel Aligner has treated over 1 million orthodontic cases over the past 20 years. 3Shape has more than 650 patents for its scanners and averages more than 500,000 scans each day, the release said.
Angel Aligners, based in China, recently made its clear aligner technology available in the U.S.
