Terrats Medical manufactures dental products including abutments and implants, with a customer base of dental offices, labs and distributors across 50 countries, according to a Feb. 16 news release from Avista.
Avista, a private equity firm focused on the healthcare sector, said it will aid Terrats Medical in its next stage of international growth. Since 2020, the company has tripled its sales, launched an implantology business and acquired a distributor in the U.S. and Sweden.
Avista acquired the company from Miura Partners. As part of the transaction, Miura has re-invested into Terrats, the release said.
