Sonendo brings in $7M in Q1, resets commercial priorities

Dental technology company Sonendo brought in $7 million in total revenue during the first quarter of 2024.

The company increased its average procedure instrument selling price from $71.60 in the fourth quarter of 2023 to $75 in the first quarter of 2024, according to a May 8 news release from Sonendo.

Total operating expenses in the first quarter were $12.3 million, a decrease from the $17 million reported in the first quarter of 2023. 

In addition, Sonendo announced a strategic reset of its commercial and operational priorities, including commercial strategy, cash conservation and margin expansion, CEO Bjarne Bergheim said in the release.
