5 notable dental tech acquisitions in 2025

Here are five notable acquisitions between dental technology companies that have taken place this year:

1. Dental 3D printing company SprintRay acquired the dental portfolio of EnvisionTEC, a global manufacturer of 3D printers. The acquisition includes patents, trademarks, inventory and other intellectual property related to EnvisionTEC’s dental materials and 3D printing technologies. 

2. Dental implant manufacturer ZimVie entered an agreement to merge its operations with Archimed, a healthcare-focused private equity firm. Each ZimVie stockholder will receive $19 in cash for each share of ZimVie common stock outstanding at the transaction’s closing. 

3. Dental software company Standard Dental acquired the assets of iCoreConnect, a cloud-based software and technology company for dental and medical companies. The deal marks Standard Dental’s 10th dental industry acquisition.

4. Dental lab company Dandy acquired Neem, a dental practice management software company. The two companies said they aim to advance digital innovation in restorative dentistry.

5. Standard Dental Labs, a Florida-based dental laboratory consolidator, signed an agreement to acquire Dream Dentistry Labs in Clearwater, Fla. Under the agreement, Standard Dental Labs will acquire Dream Dentistry Labs’ operating assets through a combination of cash and performance-based shares. Dream Dentistry Labs will retain its name after the closing.
