Align Technology launches 2024 grant program

Align Technology opened its annual research award program for 2024, which provides up to $300,000 in grants.

The funds will go to clinical and scientific dental research universities to advance patient care in dentistry and orthodontics, according to a Nov. 6 news release from Align. 

Since creating the program in 2010, the company has funded around $3 million in research projects. 

Eligible applicants include full- and part-time faculty involved in dental or scientific research at universities where Invisalign treatment or the iTero scanner is available. 

Here are the regions where the awards will be given out:

U.S., Canada, Mexico, Central and South America: Four one-year awards of up to $25,000 each

Europe, the Middle East and Africa: Four one-year awards of up to $25,000 each

Asia-Pacific: Four one-year awards of up to $25,000 each
