Tempe, Ariz.-based Align Technology has made a new Invisalign system commercially available in the U.S.
The Invisalign System With Mandibular Advancement Featuring Occlusal Blocks for Class II Skeletal and Dental Correction aims to improve occlusal relationships, enhance facial aesthetics and provide long-term functional benefits, according to an April 24 news release.
Class II malocclusion is a common orthodontic problem and can lead to functional and aesthetic challenges if left untreated.
The system increases treatment efficiency, patient comfort and leads to predictable teeth movement, the release said.
