Dr. Shankar completed the procedure at San Bruno (Calif.) Dental Excellence with the Neocis’ Yomi implant robot.
Neocis’ Yomi Robotic Dental System is the first FDA-cleared, robot-assisted dental surgery system in the U.S. The robot helps increase the speed, efficiency and accuracy of dental implant procedures.
Dr. Shankar took less than two years to hit the milestone, Neocis said in a LinkedIn post. He is now the third California-based provider to complete 1,000 robotic dental implants.
