Dr. Ansari was the first in the state and eighth in the country to use the robot back in 2018. He now uses the freehand method of placing implants in just 1 of every 5 procedures.

By using the robot, the average procedure time at Dr. Ansari’s office is cut down from two hours to 15 minutes. This allows for most implants to be completed in just one visit, the report said.

The Yomi robot system is the only robot-assisted dental surgery system with FDA clearance in the U.S.
