Using the application in tandem with the Solea dental laser removes impurities on teeth by heating tooth enamel, according to a Nov. 28 news release from Convergent Dental.

When using flouride and Solea Protect, mineral loss can be reduced up to six times more compared to using just fluoride.

Convergent Dental’s Solea laser is the only CO2 laser to receive clearance from the FDA, the release said.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place September 14-15 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence.
