Dental technology company Perimetrics has received FDA clearance for its InnerView System.
The system is the first FDA-cleared technology that is designed to measure both internal and external mobility in teeth and implants, according to an Oct. 28 news release from Perimetrics.
InnerView quantifies internal mobility by using the company’s Quantitative Percussion Diagnostics technology.
The system is supported by 30 clinical studies and 78 global patents, the release said.
