Dental supply company Dentsply Sirona has partnered with High Point (N.C.) University to enhance dental education.
The High Point University Workman School of Dental Medicine welcomed its first class of students in September. It is the third dental school in the state and the first among private schools.
The collaboration will allow dental students to gain new skills and real-world experience using the latest industry technology, according to a May 21 news release. Some of the technology Dentsply Sirona will provide HPU includes Primescan intraoral scanners, CBCTs, Cavitron ultrasonic scalers and more.
